Opening The Mountain Store has been on my bucket list for years. My family roots run deep in the outdoor world: I grew up vising my family in Northern Vermont (the Kingdom) and Maine, where my relative Amos Winter founded Sugarloaf Mountain. You could say the love of mountains, snow, and adventure is in my blood.

My husband was raised on Vermont ski slopes, and both our daughters raced competitively at Mount Peter in Warwick, NY and all over the Green Mountain State. Some of our happiest memories are from powder days on the hill, crips fall hikes, and summer fishing trips with family and friends.

We've traveled the country chasing snow and exploring the best outdoor shops along the way. I'm constantly on the hunt for that perfect jacket, a cozy new fleece, or the ideal trucker hat (my husband swears I have a coat addiction, and he might be right). Nothing makes me happier than discovering great gear that looks good and performs even better.

With The Mountain Store my goal is simple: to bring that same excitement to Warwick. I want locals, weekend visitors, and everyone passing through to find high-quality outdoor apparel from brands my family and I personally love, trust, and wear ourselves, gear that makes every adventure more comfortable, fun, and stylish.
